Getting used to being old - I was in the vet's last year and the vet told my dad that I was getting old...I was only 8 years old at the time, for heaven's sake and had just eaten something I shouldn't have, in the garden. (Actually, it was touch and go for me, for a couple of days, they just put me on a drip and let me recover. Thanks to everyone at The Willows Veterinary Hospital in Hartford, Northwich.)
These days, I still jump like a puppy, run around the garden when I need to. But, actually, I have to tell you that I am quite happy just being middle-aged....

Having said that, I do enjoy watching GRUMPY OLD MEN with my Dad. It's great to hear Rory McGrath, Rick Stein and Arthur Smith saying what we are all thinking....
